The end-of-year ceremony of the Mesrobian Armenian Catholic High School Nerguizian Nursery took place on May 19, 2018, and it transported the attendees for one and a half hours to the wonderful world of childhood, through brightly colored dances, music, and theatrical performance.

30 children gave farewell to the nursery, as they prepare to take their first steps in the world of education as KG1 students in the coming year.

Mrs. Tamar Feslian Keshishian, supervisor and responsible of the nursery, gave the opening speech, where she said “The Nerguizian Nursery is a place where the child becomes free, independent, self-sufficient, confident, and initiative. Here is laid the foundations of spiritual, mental, and social character development”. She added that the children are taught to become exemplary Armenian Christians, by cultivating their minds and knowledge.

With the leadership of Mrs. Maral Harboyan, the ceremony took place under the general theme of “A world of sweets”. Children from four different sections of the nursery presented seven meticulously prepared dances. Mesrobian students also participated in the artistical part of the ceremony with their theatrical pieces.

Mr. Gregoire Calouste, principal of Mesrobian, gave the closing speech. He expressed his greatest appreciation towards the nursery’s faculty and staff for their work, which made it possible to found and care for the Nerguizian nursery, a place full of hope, safety, and care for children. The principal congratulated the children and wished them a good start in the kindergarten.
