On June 8th 2019, Mesrobian’s KG1 and KG2 students ended the scholastic year with a festive event which took place in the school’s courtyard. The ceremony reflected a series of educational reforms that took place in the kindergarten last year and was an opportunity to convey an idea about the program followed by the KG1 and KG2 students, according to updated pedagogical approaches.

In the beginning of the ceremony, KG2 students sang the anthems of Lebanon, Armenia and Mesrobian College and delivered opening speeches, followed by a group song presented in four languages. During the artistic program, the students of both classes performed songs and dances accompanied by Armenian, Arabic and European music, as well as a bunch of recitations in Armenian, Arabic, French and English thanks to their talent of young actors.

Mesrobian’s Principal, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, as well as the Kindergarten Supervisor, Mrs. Caroline Terzian, delivered speeches during the ceremony.

Mr. Kaloust appreciated the serious and careful work of the kindergarten staff in the purpose of educating the young Armenian children and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to develop an optimal educational environment for their good development. Mr. Kaloust stated that educational reforms taking place in Mesrobian have already given visible results, especially among KG1 and KG2 students. Besides the Armenian, Arabic and French languages, English language teaching is taking place in a satisfactory way. The approach implemented in the teaching process consists of developing the students’ critical thinking, while minimizing the amount of homework.

Mr. Gregoire Kaloust mentioned that the KG1 and KG2 students have already confirmed the success of Mesrobian’s 100th anniversary seeds’ sowing. He also affirmed that those students will receive the same love and care they received during their education in kindergarten till they graduate, so that they could pursue their way with self-assurance towards higher education.
