Thu, 06 Feb 2020

On February 6, the graduating class of Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School was introduced to one interesting legacy of Armenian culture.

The school received the representative of ARCL Embroidery center Mrs. Maguy Bediguian, who presented to the students the story of Armenian embroidery, pointing out its development stages during centuries. Mrs. Bediguian had brought samples of embroidery work, through which she explained their stylistic and contextual particularities.

“We are not able to revive our martyrs but we can preserve and ensure the survival of this precious legacy that they have left behind,’’ stated Mrs. Bediguian.

The students addressed many questions to the guest speaker, who gave additional explanations to satisfy their interest in the subject
