Mesrobian College and the Armenian Virtual College (AVC) are discussing cooperation programs.

On the initiative of the administration of the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian High School, an online meeting was held on November 16, 2022, between the teachers and the heads of departments of Armenian language and history of the college on the one hand, and the responsible colleagues of AGBU's Armenian Virtual College in Yerevan, on the other.

The meeting was devoted to the discussion of ways to further enrich the existing programs of Armenian language and history in Mesrobian and to introduce the possibilities of using the programs of the Armenian Virtual College for this task.

Mrs. Arpine Tavakalian, head of the cooperation and operations department at the Armenian Virtual College, presented the programs of the AVC from which benefit thousands of students, schools and community organizations in different countries of the world in general terms, in the Armenian language, history and culture courses.

In her turn, the responsible teacher of the Western Armenian Department at the AVC, Zepur Khebligian, presented comprehensive information on the content and teaching methods of the subjects related to Armenian language, history and culture, as well as the existing sources that contribute to them. The teachers of Mesrobian got especially acquainted with the hybrid education program of the AVC which is intended to be used in schools.

On this occasion, the Principal of Mesrobian, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, thanked the administrators of the Armenian Virtual College for their willingness to assist Mesrobian in modernizing the teaching of Armenian studies. He greatly appreciated the activity that the AVC is carrying out in the field of Armenian education throughout the world, affirming that Mesrobian College will continue to cooperate with the AVC in order to enrich the Armenian language and history programs within the school, mainly by adopting modern and appealing teaching styles.
