On October 30, 2024, the general assembly of the Armenian Catholic Mesrobian Technical College’s teachers took place, on the occasion of the opening of the new academic year. The College will reopen its doors on Monday, November 4.
In his opening speech, the Principal, Mr. Gregoire Kaloust, emphasized that the Technical College is fully ready for the new academic year, despite the current extremely difficult conditions in Lebanon. "We will put all our efforts into action to ensure the normal course of the academic year", said the Principal, emphasizing the steadiness of the staff's moral-psychological condition to achieve that goal. He expressed his greatest satisfaction for last year’s educational results of the technical college, when Mesrobian's students took honorable positions in the official exams on a national level.
Mr. Serge Hanna Ayvazian, the Head of Department of the Technical College, presented a comprehensive report on the organizational procedures of the college and conveyed guidelines to the teachers regarding the academic procedures and expectations of the new academic year. Mr. Hanna reiterated the institution's dedication to maintaining high educational standards while adapting to current challenges, always striving for better results, especially in the official exams.
The general assembly ended with a reception, after which the staff took a commemorative picture in front of the statue of Mesrob Mashdots.
