Over three consecutive days, “Intervention Workshop” sessions were held at Mesrobian High School for secondary cycle students.
The workshops were facilitated by Ms. Marilynne Kassardjian, a Mesrobian alumna and current social work student at Haigazian University. As part of her fieldwork practicum, Ms. Kassardjian led these sessions with great commitment and professionalism, addressing vital mental health topics relevant to students.
The aim of these sessions was to provide our students in grades 10 through 12 with practical tools to understand and manage emotions such as anxiety, panic, and fear, especially under challenging circumstances. The workshops emphasized resilience-building and equipped students with coping strategies to navigate crises effectively.
Throughout the sessions, students were actively engaged in discussions, encouraged to ask questions, and invited to share their personal experiences. This open, supportive environment fostered greater awareness and understanding, allowing students to build a foundation for emotional well-being.
We thank Ms. Kassardjian for helping further Mesrobian’s commitment to the holistic development of students.
